As you may have seen i have fitted a KTM front end on to the Xchallenge.

I have wired up the headlight and as the old one was a h4 bulb with high and low beam in a single light, I now have a bottom low and a top high:blast, but i want the low beam to stay on at the same time as the high, as it does on the Ktm.

Little stuck on the way to wire it..

Do i need to put it through a relay and back to the low beam through the high beam switch to get both to work at the same time, if i wire it in without a relay, i will have both on, on dip and main.

Any ideas please:beerjug: R.B

I think it was discussed somewhere, and someone mentioned it could be done with a relay.

Fuse F (ABS) is supposed to be live only when the engine is running.

You will probably need to put a diode between the 2 lights, feeding from the high beam down to the low beam, if you put it in the other way around you will have both lights on permanantly with just dipped beam.

Cheers for that:thumb2

I've actually done it a different way now and fitted a h4 on the bottom and then relayed the high beam at the top as a spot, so i now have 2 main beams on at the same time which is great:beerjug:
Shouldn't get too hot as the bulbs are so far apart :thumb
