Hi am going to wire up Led Daylight running lights, the PIAA lights that I have come with all wiring and relays + - to battery I need a live feed for switch when ignition is on preferably that I can connect to below instruments, don't have wiring diagram to hand, was thinking of dipped beam power supply.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated

Thanks Jeremy

I wired mine with feed off dipped beam and earth to nearest location below instruments, have worked fine for several years.

Exactly what I'd do......

Just keep it neat and invest in some self-amalgamating tape once it's in and working to keep it all waterproof and tidy......Don't make the wiring too tight, give it enough play to flex nicely and mount the inline fuse somewhere accessible.......Other than that, simple as :)

EDIT....the other common and easy to tap switched live is the one for the rear light......It runs close to the fusebox so it's easy to use.
Can't remember the colour off hand, maybe brown yellow stripe? Easy enough to find though, just pop off the rear light cover and look at the connection there :)

Many thanks will get them wired up this week.

Put a switch in :)

No, you don't want one, no you don't need one, but most of us have a few laying around in odds and sods boxes, or they're pennies to buy, and one day, you may well get an asshole MOT guy or a jobsworth plod who didn't get his legover, and you'll be glad you took the extra 3 minutes to stick one in :)

It's also good practice so you can isolate extras.
