Hello all I have a R1150RT,
It’s great and behaves impeccably until recently.
Stars great and rides well ...... Until it’s got a bit warmed up and time to leave the motorway and as I ride up to the exit and start changing down I get from 6 to 5 and that is it no more changes can be done.
So it’s a matter of hoping that the traffic in front is light and I can get to somewhere safe to mess about with it and try and get in 2nd or 3rd at least it is controllable then and I can finish my commute.
When I come back to the bike again at the end of the day all is fine until I get to the other end of the motorway when normally the same thing occurs before I get home.
Ideally I would like to resolve this but don’t know where to start, Moving house closer to work isn’t really an option, so I'm appealing to all you BMW riders out there who may have had the same issue what can I do to sort this out once and for all.
