Wobbly exhaust

I've just refitted the exhaust after taking it off to repack it (an older Remus thing).

I'm struggling to get a solid connection between the exhaust and y-piece - the exhaust can rotate after (really) tightening the heatshield silencer clamp.

The concave spacer that sits between the lugs of the clamp is heavily rusted - could that be restricting the clamp? Can you buy replacement spacers?

I think I've worked it out.

The 'concave spacer' has reduced in size due to the rust.

As a result there wasn't enough exposed thread on the bolt - what I thought was really tight was in fact the bolt bottoming out on the end of the thread.

I added a second washer which has give the nut enough thread to grip and tighten down the clamp.
