When the dash no longer reads the gear selection......
Supposedly caused from water getting into the plug/switch on the back of the trans.
Guys aat Adv Rider claim a good cleaning and dielectric grease to seal things backup but a few mention a re-program at the Dealer.
Which is it...or maybe both, if the dielectric don't fix?
Can't understand how a "re-program" would fix or be needed if caused by water/moisture...?....
