so my rear brake light has been driving me nuts these past few days, it keeps staying on, so I

Changed the bulb
checked it was the correct way around
Changed the bulb for a "BMW" oe spec and tried that
Checked all the front brake contacts
Dismantled the rear brake light and checked the connectors and contacts in the tail unit
checked on here and found that the rear unit can be faulty along with the front brake switch...so just replaced these both at a cost of 60 quid and.....

Still the bloody light stays on

I then counted until ten and in doing so thought.....hmmm that rear brake light switch (foot not handlebar) looks a bit grimy.....squirt with WD40 and its all fixed.....what a Knob I am!!!!!!!
