Here we go with another first.Worldbeater pannier rental. Some people have rented/borrowed panniers off me in the past,and love the idea of it,so I'm going to try it out as a proper service now.This is only for the 850/1100/1150GS at the moment,but will fold out to cover other models as they become available.
£600-£700+ is an awful lot of money to spend on a set of panniers,that in reality,might only be used for two weeks of the year.The panniers that you have at the moment,might be perfectly good for everyday use,but a real pain when you're two up camping for a couple of weeks.So why not rent a pair for just that holiday time.
You rent a set,take them away for your holiday,then give them back when you've finished with them.No worries.
I'm going to have a few sets dotted around the country for people to rent,so you should never be too far away from a set.Failing that,they can be posted at cost to you.You only pay for your holiday time rental,and not time in the post.You do however,pay the postage.
Even if you just want to try a set for a long weekend,to see if you want a bigger set/smaller set/high lids/low lids whatever,it still makes sense.
I'm proposing £10 a day for the first week,and £5 a day for the second week,so that would be £105 all in for a two week rental.If after the rental period,you decide to buy a set of Worldbeaters,then I will discount the new set £55,which is over half of your original rental cost of a two week rental.
No problem if you drop the bike on them,no insurance deals,no deposit,just let me know if you have damaged them(fat cahnce) so I can fix them.
