Yes I know that, it was just an opportunity to point out that there are many places called Malta, a fact that has escaped some people when setting routse in their Sat Nav! For those coming here there is only one in Austria.

Well, the blessing of my bike worked on Tuesday...just a few spots between Malta and Bamberg(ish), but today .....solid heavy rain all the way to just short of Arnhem..possibly the nastiest days riding I've ever had...spray all the way..

I could do with a little rain .................
After walking through the central district of Granada at 7PM last night and seeing the temperature gauge showing 42`C
I figured it was time to head west............. 9hrs, 400 miles later and slightly saddle sore I`m now near Lisbon where the temperature is a mere 38`C
