Worst mpg figures for a GS

My tuned and ridden just a bit quickly VFR is returning around 30mpg!

What is the 'worst' mpg figure that anyone has had for their 1200GS?

My worst was 40 mpg (US) and that was high speed highway and caning the living shite out of it on mountain roads.

which is 48mpg UK. My worst is about the same though usually well in excess of 52.

Has the 12 got the same odo error as the 11xx's and if so are those figures adjusted or 'optimistic'??

Other threads in this and other foras indicates the the odo error on the 1200GS is very small. Less than 2%. The odometer on my 1200GS shows exacly the same distance as the GPS.

Worst milage? 6.5 litres / 100 km when driving on a raceway. Typical milage for me is 4.5 to 5 litres / 100 km. My 1200GS takes about 10% less fuel than my 1150GS did.

Odo is fairly accurate. I used to get about 44mpg on my 1150 so say 41 adjusted and I get 52+ from the 1200 say 50mpg adjusted. It is a LOT more economical.
