Just watched the Philip Lynott archive on RTE - brilliant; makes me feel young again.
Think I'll stay up a bit longer and skip the Horlicks tonight - rebel or wha?

Excellent programme. I was telling my kids how after he left Thin Lizzy we used to go to the community center in howth & watch Lynott ... Dosh Nagle & Grand Slam practice. Ah the good old days, no security men and the door was always open.

I saw grandslam in Sir Henry's in Cork. Speaking of RTE, what in the hell was that drivel on new years eve? We we're stuck in with a sick elderly relative and she wanted to watch it so we had to too. It was awful. eventually I had to go next doot to the kitchen and watch Jools Holland on BBC2.

I don't think I'll be paying my license fee this year.

Pity he died too soon. Had lots more to offer and would have even more of an impact in todays current climate.
