fancy some mild off roading, and the GS is just too big for that at the moment, got the chance of buying a DR350 sex, 99 full enduro with kick start only, apparantly its a special enduro racing or something model???

bit battered but arent they all if used properly, seems sound tho, started first kick, everythijg seems there, pumper carb??? race airbox???

anyway, what should I be paying? will have daylight mot, as the headlights are tiny and projectors so cant mot - that right???

thanks

keep an eye out for a a 400 they have an electric start, and are slightly newer. 13 months ago, my 400 cost £1750 it is a 52 plate with 2200 miles, and it fully kitted out for lanes....

thanks, if I get this for a grand would that be reasonable value?

Get a full mot if it has lights.
These are great bike, very reliable.
Many had painfull lives though with mainly enduro usage.
Plenty os spare parts available.
Any trailbike with an mot is worth £1000.

Timpo.

DR 350s go for silly money I bought my 400 e for £1250, 2000 w 3000 miles, spent few hundred getting a full MOT on it but even so, 400's are a better bike all round.
Leccy start is a god send on a cold wet day (this is from a former xt500 owner though):augie

having looked at the model history, it looks ;like an E off road model with small projector lights, my mate who owns it says it will only pass a a daylight mot

Same as mine and on Timpo's recommendation I bought a kit from here
www.proracing.co.uk fitted it in a couple of hours however you will need to buy an extra brake switch as you need front and rear brake switches then get yourself, full MOT:thumb
