it sits in the pipework, under the rad on the front/left hand side.

Sensor removed from engine (8 valve, 16 valve differs).

Room temperature:

Pin 1 to ground = 1.88 kOhms.
Pin 2 to ground = 1.92 kOhms.

After brief immersion in cold water:

Pin 1 to ground = 2.44 kOmhs.
Pin 2 to ground = 2.58 kOmhs.

Values will change during handling (mine did anyway).

After brief immersion in hot water:

Pin 1 = 0.54 kOhms.
Pin 2 = 0.57 kOmhs.

2 separate sensors, one controls fan, other connects to fuel injection unit.

didn't expect the hot and cold showers - now go and dry yourself before you catch a cold. :D

seriously that's appreciated - i have a weird running problem on mine :(
