Check where I reside first, but outside my local "alehouse" at lunch today "yes this isn,t a granny state, we do occasionally :augie have lunch including a beer" I see a mandarin yellow 1150GS, not clean shiny but "as new" spoke to the owner, 2000 model bought it December last year, 8000 miles on the clock :blast but knowing these beasts it is true mileage, not a mark on it or wear on the rubbers etc etc...

This is a high altitude enviroment, so no salt or corrosion, even my abused 99 is rust free .. so the 2000 is "as new"... there are more o these unused weekend warriors including GSA,s kicking around, I think I need to look at some more...

Interesting, these bikes are generally owned by guys with a fleet of vehicles, garaged and ridden little, could be some nice deals to be had.

The Sunday breakfast run is popular here, the guys take out the bike once a month ride it for a hundred miles and park it again till next month, you find imaculate unrestored stuff kicking around.. but its a bit far to ride them home :)
