I thought she would go without any issues John, but none the less, I’m still relieved! It’ll be a cracking bike for its eventual owner.

Bike is all back together , one final issue was a non working rear brake master cylinder , I stripped it down and rebuilt it but the seals must be shot as it still didn't work . A refurb kit is an eye watering £112 , ouch . Anyway has to be done so new one ordered and hopefully it arrives tomorrow and I can get the MOT done

Rear brake master cylinder rebuilt . What a PITA it is was to bleed . Conventional bleeding , vacum bleed and a reverse bleed all failed to give a firm brake pedal . Had to remove the master cylinder from the bike and elevate it above the brake caliper and do several vacum and reverse bleeds to eventually get a firm pedal . Left it tied up with piston tie wrapped in the applied position to get any remaining air out

Rear brake all sorted and bike ready for its MOT tomorrow......took some getting the air out of the rear circuit !

Makes you wonder why some systems practically bleed themselves and others fight all the way.

From the USA WR forum I found this :

The WR rear brake tends to lock a bubble up right at the banjo fitting/bolt where the hose attaches to the master cylinder. Fluid will flow right under it and never move it

Sailed through its MOT and brakes measured at 99% efficiency

A trip to the Post Office tomorrow to get all of the paperwork sent of to DVLA and then see how long it takes for them to process it
