I am looking for a simple mount for my 2610 that is easy to fix straight to the TT satnav bar. I have got a TT lockable unit but it is very difficult to use under the screen area. Can anyone assist or is there a BMW navigator cradle that will hold the 2610?

I did have it on a ram mount but it seemed to always be moving so wanted to change to satnav bar.

Help its driving me mad!!:blast

i got one of these genuine garmin mounts you can have, £10 posted. hardly used, had a RAM ball screwed on (not included), tried it, didn't like it. i think there's 2 security keys with it too.

you'll still need some RAM or similar stuff to attach it to anything though.

sorry, don't know what the TT satnav bar is, so might not be what you want

Looks nearly what i want but did not really wanted to mount on ram mount again?
Can you give me the holes centres for the 4 bolts as I think I have a idea?

bring your measure up vic on thurs and ill bring you one to have a look at

approx 31 x 37.5 mm, best i can do with a steel rule. can do it better tomorrow with calipers.

i think it's really in some antiquated american measurement

I have this mounted with a ram mount on the bars of my 1150 and it works perfectly. :thumb2

I have often referrered to and mentioned the AMPS hole pattern, commonly used and adopted by many, suffice if you want to read or learn more then here's a nerdy link http://cadjournal.com/2006/02/16/standards-matter-amps and is also used By Garmin and now Tom Tom with Rider 2.

Small handlebar or crossbar, try a 10mm wide strip of rubber wrap for grip with a RAP-319 inside the standard u-bolt.

ah, "1.496 by 1.181 inches"

must have come from a random number generator

:type multiplied by 25.4 .... :augie

There's a choice for the AMPS fixing .. either the round base such as RAM-B-202 which a matrix of holes, or simpler, is a RAM-B-347 which has a square plate with hole in each corner, AMPS pattern.
