Wulfsport

I had a pair of the Alpina trousers for a number of years. Looked different to the Advance. I liked them for winter use with the liner fitted. The weren't so comfortable in hot weather without the liner, as that was integral to wicking away sweat it seamed. Since then, I have discovered the benefit of EDZ base layers and they would probably work well with a pair of those or some merino ones.

They lasted well and represented good value for money. Can't comment about the jacket. I'd have another pair, if I hadn't moved some distance from my nearest Wulfsport stockist.

Like every other pair of waterproof trousers I have owned, they eventually succumbed to the short, fat bloke on a GS syndrome i.e. they started leaking in the crotch are as the seams there always get stretched as I (dis)mount the bike.

Anyone tried the Wulfsport Alpina Advance jacket and trousers?
Hated/Rated or - don't even go there?

I need something for Germany/Italy in summer. 30-38C.

'Tis awfy cheap......:nenau

For warm weather use, I'd recommend my Belstaff / BMG Adventure Jacket and Pants.

I've only ever tested them up to 40 deg C but I was never uncomfortable. They're not waterproof but there are solutions to that. I'm happy to let you see them if you're interested.

Cheers. The Belstaff site is a nightmare. How the heck they sell anything is a wonder.
The link to the US firm - anyone over here sell the stuff? Forth Gear?

I have a H-G goretex two piece which is ace in the wet but just waay too hot in the summer so were thinking of the H-G suits again or some other option. Friends in Italy swear by their BMW gear in the summer but the price is well...typical BMW.

The BMW Airflow suit is great too. Bought a set for my missus. I SHOULD have bought them for myself instead.

Not cheap but very good.

No-one else in the world sells the gear which used to be Belstaff and is now BMG. However, British Motorcycle Gear ship to the UK, do great customer service and their MD, Paul Brooks, is something of a friend of mine.
