WUNDERLICH PANNIER BAG - R1200GS

Has anyone used these bags that sit on top of the vario panniers?

Do they restrict the ease of a pillion getting on the bike?

I have the Touratech versions, used for the Tipperary trip last year (SWMBO obviously needs several pairs of shoes for a weekend away). No issues at all for the pillion that I was made aware of.

Had them for four years,pillion can get on and off without any problem. very secure, waterproof for the first couple of years now letting in water in heavy rain, can hold a lot of extras.

I have bought a TT one for my bike.....but yet to use it!

My main concerns were...

putting so much gear in it, that when you open the lid of the pannier the weight of it being on top would rip the pannier top from the hinge locks.

....or either having to remove it everytime you go in the pannier.

Or having some theiving sod nick everything from it while I'm looking around the attractions!!

Thought they were a good idea though...if not cheap!

....maybe this year they'll make it on the bike??
