Big claims of 10% power, 12% acceleration etc are made for the £240. Sold by NN here

Does anyone have one and is it worth the cash?

Richard,

I have one (there are a few threads on this subject also) - is it worth it?

It depends on what else you've done. I would expect that they are only really useful if you've gone for new headers, more open can, and K&N filter. If you've made thouse mods, it does protect the engine from running lean, and does make a significant boost in performance.

Overall I would say that it is worth it - but it's personal. The good news is that, if you don't think so, you can take it off and sell it (someone was looking for one in the For Sale & wanted Section).

Cheers,

Dave.

Thanks Dave
I've got a full Staintune system and standard airfilter (easily changed) and was told that there was no need to 'rejet' so long as I didn't run full time full blast without the baffle but who wouldn't like a little more 'go'?

I may invest in one later in the summer once teh lottery cheque comes through ....... note to self: must buy lottery ticket

I've noticed a huge dip at 4500-5000 rpm which is where I normally ride, so I see yet another £250 being spent.

Fingers crossed for the lottery this weekend
