Wunderlich screen

Know what you mean but the link is greek to me but good pictures though.:) Have had the Wunderlich Ergo screen shown for a couple of months now and no wind hits my helmet. Great for longdistance touring but for offroading it is too tall. The aluminum braces help to keep the shield stable for its height. At 5' 11 1/2" tall I can still see over it. I like it.

i am 1.83m .. this is reeeeeeeally nicccceeeee

asked about the braces and wunderlich replied that the new version of the screen comes with no aluminium braces... ?!?!

went today with 155km/h with co-passenger and no problems at all..

when i have other news, they will be here ;)

I must agree with jlabro, it is a very good screen, I only changed as I got it cheap on Fleabay but the results are far better than expected, a far quieter ride with less wind buffetting as an added welcome bonus.

It is possible to ride comfortably upto 60 ish with visor still up on my Arai Tour-X with no vibration in the peak once the visor is down and the speed picks up.

Mines is obviously one of the older models with the aluminium braces which cuts down on the screen vibration nicely also stops the horrible vibration noise at stand still.

Obviously as I am only 5'7" the screen gives me better protection than someone taller but I am now able to slowly adjust the screen down to max effect.

Sorry tobers the torbinators are now off :nenau

Do you suffer any loss of visibility with such a tall screen and being on 5'7"? I'm concerned that I may end up with a blind spot once the screen gets grubby.

ShaunT279 will have to tell you how it works for him. I am 5' 8" and have the standard seat at the low setting and did not want to be looking through the screen. So, I went for the Wunderlich Xtreme screen, which is lower than the ERGO jobbie (which I think is about the same height as NN's screen) and it is a big improvement. It eliminates the buffeting altogether. It is still fairly noisy (with Arai Tour-X) but does not cause any "thrumming" of the peak like the standard screen did. Have not tried Tobinators with it yet (could not get them to help much with the standard screen - got rid of the buffeting, but only by putting my head in the wind with a much increased wind noise level).

I also bought the xtreme screen, 5'10". Great, solid with no more rattleing, they also have a new screen mounting at the front which is adjustable. I also tried the tobinators, but at the best setting the handle bars were resricting the lock too much.
