has anyone fitted this "super low seat" to their bike and if so does it just plonk straight on or have you got to alter things a bit, and also whats it like for comfort over a few miles. It look,s as though it would give my short legs a couple of more inches of reach but am not so sure about the comfort side of things.

thanks guy,s

My girlfriends got a Wunderlich low seat fited to her 1150GS, knocks at least 30mm off the seat height.

She bought it second hand, not worth buying new IMO. It's only a stock BMW seat with the cover & most of the foam removed and then re-covered in a Basket Weave material. No Gel pads etc.

Remaining seat foam is a bit thin but it does the job. You could modify your own seat & get it re-covered for £45.00.

I've got a Wunderlich low seat fitted to my 1200. I did post pictures showing a comparison in seat height with the standard seat but have been unable to find the thread thus far.

It's lower than standard but I wouldn't say it's any lower to sit on than the BWM low seat. This may be because it's wider.

It's very comfy though even if it is quite firm. Over 12 hours riding in a day without any discomfort.
