Wunderlich to resell Tobinators

Hi all,

I've kept this under wraps during commercial negotiations and all that assocaited stuff. Wunderlich are now global Tobinator distributors. They are in the process of updating their site and catalogue to include Tobinators. They have some pages up already but have got some more bits to add in and a separate Tobinator section to create. There's some info in German on their site already if anyone wants to have a look-see (www.wunderlich.de) - because their site has frames I cant give you the URL to the relevant page.

So, they are going to sell & distribute globally for me, which I think is quite high up the cool scale. I'm really chuffed to bits.

Effectively, I've licensed them the rights to distribute. They have no UK rights as I keep them to myself, but they can distribute anywhere else. They will also be manufacturing and packaging the Tobinator components. I've had the first samples in and they are v.high quality. The packaging is rather better than my amateur bubble-wrap affair as well.

Overall, this should mean that it's easier and simpler for people to buy Tobinators around the world. I'm hoping that Andrew Fekete at www.adventurersworkshop.com can work on the USA market with Wunderlich as he's doing a cracking job at the moment.

So the purpose of this post is not to do a Tobinator sales thing, but to say a huge "thanks!!!" to all my customers who have spread the word. See what you've done! I'll buy you all a drink at the Hog Roast (assuming Mrs Tobers lets me out of the house!).

Yep - they are still known as Tobinators but I'm sure that "Das Tobinatersfunkenschnellerscreenriser" was being considered as a name early in the proceedings.

Re. guinea pigs getting a cut of the profits - hmmmmmmm - if there's any money left after I've bought lots of new bits for my 1200 I'll let you know

Well done Tobers. Mine got me to Romania and back and will shortly be accompanying me to Turkey. As a product, great. Simple to fit, do what they say on the bubble wrap packaging and service support, i.e how do I set the bu**ers up from you was second to none.

Will I need two different kits in case I put my original screen back on?
