Wunderlich Vario on R1100GS

Just fitted a new Wunderlich Vario on my 1100.
First impressions:
I am 6'3" so I have it set on the highest setting .
Very good buffetting has disappeared
Airflow noise very acceptable

But......boy does this thing flex a lot ! Are they supposed to do this ? Especially when riding in the wind turbulence behind a car the thing is really flapping about. It's a bit unnerving and I wonder is the perspex designed to do this or should I be thinking about fitting a couple of support rods behind the screen.
Any one else using this on an 1100 - I like to hear what your experiences are.

mate.ive tightend the screws right up.i have one and no probs with it.

When you say 'right up' do you mean until you really can't tighten them any more . I think they are tight but I was a bit concerned about overtightening and either cracking the screen or stripping the threads.....also how tight did you go on the 4 side mounting screws that go into the rubber connecting nuts ?
