Has anyone had any luck getting the two of these to work?

From what I can see the Nav V should support audio books and Garmin have a relationship with Audible, I just can't get their software to recognise the Nav V when connected... it does see my old Zumo 550, but that is a Garmin device.

Apologies if this is in the wrong location, I've search here and the Internet at large but the answer so far eludes me.

I know terrible isn't it :D

You could just download it as music to the MP3 folder?
Can't as they are already downloaded as proprietary files :( did look at converting them, but nothing I've got will do it, might have another look. Trouble is the Nav V seems to start from the beginning of a track if reset - great for music, but a PITA for an audiobook

Audible & Zumo

I have put books on the Zumo. Just don't expect them to work as they do through the Audible phone app.
You need to download them as MP3 on to the device. You can do this through your online library.
For the convenience I tend to use the phone app and connect bluetooth between helmet and phone. It's easier for pausing skipping rewinding etc than using the zumo media app.

yep, piece of cake with a Zumo, but not with the NAV V

Good thinking on the phone app, but I guess you've got Bluetooth direct between phone and helmet and no connection to the Zumo

I'm not sure if this will work for me as I'm using an Autocom with Bluetooth dongle... so phone is connected to NAV, NAV is connected to Autocom, Autocom is wired to helmet, helmet is on head, head on shoulders, etc ;)

I don't think I can connect phone and NAV direct to Autocom...

I've found them a much better idea than try to read ordinary books while riding. Bluetack will hold the book to the tank, but its difficult to stop the wind turning the pages all the time.

as much as I'm laughing at that I've seen drivers doing just that and much worse while moving :D
