Well, I was in the market for a new helmet.

Found one on sale at a really helpful and useful shop, P&H in Crawley. However they did not have my size on sale.

Went online and found Helmetcity..... made an offer to buy the Shoei Daibolic Zero at a price suited to my budget. they replied and were able to match the price.

Went over there this morning, and was met by a Helmet shop that had range, and variety.... The staff were helpfull, informed and knew their products.
They also made me one or two other offers, and suggestions, based on the bikes colour... yellow.

In the end I still bought the Diabolic Zero, but felt that they had significantly outperformed other shops, one where I walked out last week after about 25minutes of not being helped.

The do mail order etc.... so if you need a helmet at a competitive price from people who know their arrsse from their elbow.... here is the place.

I think Bigbird got his Arai from there at a price he was very pleased with as well:thumb2

Delighted you got the deal you were after but I think I've puked a kebab & guinness cocktail that looked better than that on the pavement :D

................................. But I like it. :thedummy

Bottom line is that I got what I wanted, from the shop that is.

I bought an SI from them a month or so back. It didn't fit, so another was sent the next day and delivered as the old one was collected. Excellent price and service.:thumb2

bought my X spirit from these guys; good stock, good prices, good service. I came across them via e-bay. Clearly their overheads are lower than a high street shop so their margin can be lower. Only thing that I would advise looking out for is the date of manufacture for the helmet (which is often written inside if you have a search by pulling back the soft inner lining) as when I was there some of their stock was a few years old. I would guess that they are buying in bulk as colours/schemes get phased out by the importer.

They are down the road from me and I agree they are very good and helpful.

The funny bit is they are based at Beaver World:D

+1 good shop and worth going there to talk to them and try on the various lids - btw they don't only sell helmets - they have clothing and a few bikes as well although not sure what the AC Cobra was doing in there when I went ;)

Top Service

As a result of this post I phoned Friday afternoon after a new visor for my C2.
They had one in stock so I ordered it fully expecting not to receive it until Mon or Tues. Postie rang the bell at 0825 Sat morning with aforesaid visor.
Credit card transaction was timed at 1521. Can't complain about 17 hours and 4 minutes. Who says our postal system isn't good.
Matt

Popped in there this afternoon for a new visor and pinlock for my Schuberth S1.

They've really expanded over the last 2 years and the store is very impressive:thumb

Anyway, new visor and pinlock insert cost me £75 , got £5 knocked off for being local and a past customer, top place:thumb
