I put a Remus on my Xchallenge and it runs so much better but is just too loud.

I have had my standard exhaust de-catted but it still seems flat and doesn't rev out like the Remus.

So what other exhausts are out there that don't cost a fortune?

Leovince x3
Scorpion

These are a couple I'm considering.

I've tried the scorpion and wasn't impressed with it. I had it on the bike for 2 rides before i got shot of it.

I didn't really notice any change in performance, if anything it felt as though it lost something in the mid range.

I can't comment on the leo vince, but those i've heard have also been bloody noisy.

What i have noticed a difference with, is using the remus header. Seems to help the bike rev out a lot better. I'm going to be trying this with a standard de-catted can and see how i get on.

The Akro system seems quite easy on the ears, though big money.

There was also an SR racing can for sale on here a little while back, and i don;t think they are as loud as the remus- i did ride pinkytiff's bike which has one fitted, and i don't remember it being that offensive.

I can confirm the Leo Vince is little loud, having said that runs well with it and takes the lying down well.

Thanks for the offer Ian640 but way out of the price bracket I'm looking at.
The main reason I'm looking at the scorpion and leovince is the price.

I'm sure the SR is worth the money and thanks again.

First dibs on your Remus when you find a suitable replacement?! :augie

Not sure if that's my old can, was a bit loud for me.
I did try a Scorpion & was probably louder still with the baffles, the stock with decat was nicest IMHO.
