X Challenge Stolen from NORTH WALES

2008 X Challenge.

It was Stolen from Coedpoeth, Wrexham on friday night 9th Dec. / saturday morning as well as some white Tech 6 Boots, 2 airoh helmets, one cheap helmet and a 2001 Gas Gas TXT 250 with a broken rear mudguard.

Registration number was MF58 ENU

It was fitted with the following.

A scheffelmeier metal bash plate with no holes in it
A scheffelmeier metal case saver
ABS
A large touratech rear luggage rack
The brackets to mount Hepco & Becker Panniers – Frames were not fitted
Bar risers
Fairly new trelleborg army special tyres
BMW hand guards – the plastic on one was missing though
A Remus Exhaust with carbon fibre bracket
2 broken mirror mounts

Yes, X-C riders, let's try and get this lad his bike back.
Very few parts are sold on the likes of ebay, the bike is fairly rare, so if your offered parts or you see parts for sale, it could be Nick's bike being broken up.

I do not exaggerate when I say that our local trf report a stolen bike every week ! Good luck with the hunt.
 
I'll keep my eyes peeled for the bits, like most of us I'm always looking out for a bit of bling for mine, as timpo says they're pretty rare. I hope it gets returned.

As a side this is the third one I've heard getting nicked and I'm seriously considering a tracker. A quick look on their site and they are £250 fitted including the first years subscription. Given what I've spent on it and what I'd get back if the worst happens it doesn't seem that expensive.
 
I heard yesterday some progress had been made.
Let's hope it leads to getting his bike back:thumb
 
Did this ride ever show up? These are so rare, there are 5 listed in Cycletrader in the US, and nothing close to Los Angeles. This was most likely parted out since you can't take it anywhere without standing out.

To date dude i believe it is still missing.
And even broken for spares, the bike would surface as the parts here in UK are very rare. Cycle parts for sale are very few and far between.

If I was a gambling man, I would say it is still hidden in a shed or has been cubed and sold as scrap.:mad:

Bike has been recovered I believe, from an address in Wrexham.

Not in good shape; whilst the scum were keeping it safe in their front roo m, they seemed fit to remove a few parts and generally bashed it a bit. Poss insurance write off.
