Just got an xbox 360 elite for my son's birthday.
Games play fine but he now wants to play xbox live via the internet. I've got virgin wireless broadband - is it as simple as getting a wireless thingy and just plugging it into the xbox or, as most things are, a bit more involved than that?
My laptop works fine via the wireless system in the house.

Thanks in advance :thumb2

I will check but my son has his connected wireless to his big shed at the side of my house with no probs. Once you can get the signal I believe it was more or less plug and play with the box itself prompting the user on screen to register. It will also prompt for security key/wireless key if you have like me set up a home network. Like I say I will confirm, good luck,

I can confirm this is correct :):)

Thanks for the replies :thumb2

I tried a wireless adaptor with no luck so splashed out on the official xbox 360 wireless network adaptor and still no luck

I can't seem to get the xbox to acknowledge the wireless network - I know the wireless works as my laptop receives it all round the house.

What can I do to make it work :nenau
