Been looking about, seems theres a lot of discussion about the right guards/mounting kits. Id like to find a set where I dont have to cut the ends of the levers! and not as expensive as TT offering.
Any suggestions/pics?

Thanks

PS anybody tried a foam air filter yet?

BMW set don't and I've ordered a foam filter for summer

I was going to use some Acerbis TT branded guards but by the time you buy the guards and the fittings they work out pretty much the same price as the BMW ones.

The Acerbis fitting kit is about £30 and the handguards between £30 and £40 odd. The BMW guards are £77 from Williams in Manchester and you don't have to cut your grips to fit 'em.

Acerbis Multiplo fit without chopping bits off your levers.
My bike went over , ooh, lets say, 10 times today:blast and the guards did their job:thumb2

p.s. riding with Timpo

My Cycra hand guards needed the ends cutting off
i doubt i'll be entering any enduros and they were cheap :)

Barkbusters

I recently fitted a set of Barkbuster to my G650X Challenge (ABS version). Initially there were some problems, but these were sorted out by Barkbusters. Their standard unit for the G650X wouldn't fit the ABS version, but a few simple changes (clamp, spacer and a bend) and they fit beautifully.:clap
