What sort of fuel economy do you get with your Xchallenge with standard fuel tank.

I got 95 miles to the light. Is this normal? (about 55mpg).

hi mark

it depends on how you ride it, my best was about 80 mpg but ive also had as low as 55mpg

hope you're enjoying it

Yes Ian loving it.

Put the road tyres on and went for a blast on a hundred mile round trip to The Adventure Bike shop in Suffolk. Could have spent a fortune on all the goodies.
I think they even have more Touratech stuff on display than Touratech have in stock!!

I suppose that would be an absolute worse case scenario with fuel economy as we wasnt particularly hanging around. Handles so well but still found the seat a bit uncomfortable though. Pulls in almost any gear from nothing, such a versatile engine. Might have to try the venhill on Enduro setting as found it gave me a wrist ache on motocross setting.

About 110-120 miles to light on, always seem to get 150 miles+ per tank and not run out yet

+1 :thumb

the worst i've had from mine was about 60miles before the light came on (it wasn't quite a full tank, but not far off).

But this was trying to keep up with 2 loony french men on enduro bikes down in correze...:D

Generally get about 60 mpg on mine. Not bad but not as good as a previous Dakar where it was 70+

Generally find it best on a and b roads, where I will get 120 miles out of the tank, the light coming on after 100. Worst is higher speed dual carriageway, where it seems to fall to low 50s (mpg), in which case my rt12 does more .

About to go on a loaded camping trip on it, so will be interesting to see how it performs.

glad you're enjoying it!:beerjug:

btw it still has both springs attached on the throttle body, some peeps have taken it down to one for a lighter pull:thumb
