During an entertaining ride out with bakerman on sunday, there were a few occassions when my XChallenge wouldn't start.
Normally it starts within a few turns of the starter, but trying to get up one particularly snotty climb (the first time i've had to get off and push in a long time), i tried starting the bike.
Despite turning over, the bike showed no signs of life at all.....not even a bang or pop from the exhaust.
I tried bumping it back down the hill, but still nothing (probably something to do with not getting enough grip to turn the motor over). At the bottom i had a break for 5 minutes, after which the bike fired up not problem at all, and continued to be trouble free for the rest of the day
Now the bike has done less than 2k miles, and is just under 18 months old.
Any suggestions?? i've considered the clutch and side stand switch, but normally if either aren't in the required position, then the bike won't turn over at all.
something stuck in the throttle body??
thanks,
nathan
