I have the WP 43mm front forks fitted with the standard triple clamps.

My question is what low fender fits best and any mods needed to make them fit?

For those that have done it can you post some pictures showing clearance and mods done please?

Either a F800GS one and mod it

I think Speedbrain do one for the G450, that may well fit, but it's expensive

Have you looked at the ktm parts fiches on line? iirc these forks were fitted to their bikes prior to about 2003/4. you may find the original 640 adventure may fit straight on?

You are right but there's enough flex in both 990 and 800gs fenders to fit on XC.

I have checked the KTM parts fiche but it seems that up to 2003 only the high mudguard was fitted. After this the fitments was the same as the 990adventures so some sort of mod is still needed.

Yes I have a damaged 990 mudguard that I have offered up and there can only be millimetres difference between the two bikes.

Should do. The standard fork protectors mount straight onto the WP forks so I don't see any reason why not.

Or you can get a 800GS fender, glue it onto the existing protectors and make up some stabilising brackets.
