wouldnt work,bumps would set it off, if u then damped it, it may be too slow,the wireing would be complicated, an u only jus learned how to do relays,an before u ask,,,,,N0

Hear Hear. Wouldn't work and why bother. If you could get it to work you would be flashing your lights on and off like a police car on a call!!

If you are blinding other drivers it's a fault with the lamps aim. If you are still blinding them use the switch.

the blue l.e.d in me headlite is enough to make the other drivers think im plod:

Motorworks do an HID replacement full high beam unit - expensive but awesome, easy to fit too. You can actually see where you are going. No additional spots, looks exactly atandard. Only trouble is dropping to dip beam - it's like someones turned out the lights altogether. Highly recommended but pricey.

If you are referring to what the top end car manufacturers call bi-zenon then the answer is nothing.

The zenon lamps that they are referring to are High Intensity Discharge (HID) units. Initially cars only came equipped with Zenon (HID) dip beam as the delay in striking with early units was too great for use on high beam. As the strike delay was reduced the lamps became suitable for head beam as well hence Bi-Zenon as in head and dip beam.

So if you shove HID units into both dip beam and head beam on your 1150/1200 GS you have a bi-zenon bike. Of course you can improve on this by fitting twin HID driving lamps to work with dip beam and twin HID spots lamps to work with head beam hence creating. Hex-Zenon or would that only be Quad Zenon?

Not to be confused with old tech filament lamps marketed as Zenon because they contain a small amount of zenon gas. These are generally little better than any standard halogen lamp.

I purchased 2no H7 dip and main and 2no H11 for spots and they are brighter than a bright thing. R1200GSA '07 £274.00 delivered including mounting bracket. Pricey I thought, originally, until I went for a spin at night with them on. Even in daytime you can see the traffic signs illuminated.....
