just a quick post about the xlite 551 helmet . i bought one saturday from hein gericke as the in the sale at £244 . my general feeling is its a very nice helmet.
my only gripe is the opening is quite narrow when putting it on but once on its very comfy not heavy at all and at 90mph turning your head to one side it dont pull your head off . the peak is well ventilated so the air rushes through it when you turn or lift your head and its full adjustable . the helmet comes with a tinted flip down visor inside wich also feels quality when used and doesnt rattle at all . pinlock included with the helmet and it feels better quality than both the arai and shoei . got caught in some very heavy rain and not one bit of water got its way inside the visor and no fogging at all . the vents are also excellent . this is the first xlite helmet ive had as generally an arai man but im well happy with it . for that money its a bargain
