XP - do I need SP2?

New PC being delivered at the end of the month. It's got XP home installed. Will I need to put Service Pack 2 on it?

What is SP2 anyway?

Best to install it - if it hasn't already been done.

I would hope that by now, that is the case. SP2 fixes a lot of security weaknesses in XP and also includes a rudimentary firewall. This is not perfect but better than nothing while you download ZoneAlarm

If you do need SP2, I have the CD.
