I'm not to sure how this ebay thing works,but it would seem I am the successful bidder on a 02 XR400 3,300klm with a recent top end rebuild.

I've managed to send the seller a message,so hopefully I'll be able to go and pick it up next week.

It might have saved me some money as I was on the verge of buying a new CRF250l.

Ad says it had slipped a couple of teeth on the timeing chain and bent the valves.
Only 50mls away so if it don't look and feel right I can always turn round and come home.

Correct.......and I have done it twice. DO NOT BUY A BADLY REPRESENTED DOG. If 'Chummy' wants to persue you, then let him. Feck all will happen......As in, I've done it twice, was threatened, and feck all happened....

I'ts not a legally binding contract if the item is not as described or information has been omitted.
It is an invitation to come and make sure it's what was described before you hand over your cash.

Took about 30 kicks to get it started.

Big bolt sticking out where the cam chain tensioner should be ?

Blew out lots and lots of blue smoke upon starting and still blowing it out after five minutes running.

No baffle in the exhaust,it was LOUD.Wouldn't go down well around Rosedale

Speedo not working.

generally looked as though it had had a very hard life.

last tax disc 2006.

V5 not in sellers name.

Only way to switch it on ond of was with the kill switch (To be honest I'm not sue if this is normal,but if it is it would make it avery easy bike to nick.

I never buy anything these days off ebay if its over 15 miles away and try and look at it before I bid
