Nice one, always loved those....enjoy..

I've got one of those as well. Agree with JD you need to change the colour of those levers and pegs to black.

Not sure about the battleship grey engine on these. Looks like it belongs in an airfix kit. :-(

Yes I know,i`m on the case, they`re all Oberon bits (ie) pricey,so I`ll probably get them re-anodised in black.what model do you have ,I was looking for an x model, but found this one which is a limited edition number 2 of 50 using Harris parts CF guards belly pan etc,Ohlins rear ,Progressive springs front etc and a fueling conversion and some trick air filter conversion.

I have a 2012 X version, same levers and pegs as yours but in black. V&H competition pipes, FuelPak and Hi-Flo air filter, tail tidy and LED rear light, all fitted by previous owner. I have fitted a small QD screen like yours. The previous owner also fitted some low, really wide bars which detract from the handling and comfort so I will be changing those for something more like the OEM bars. It also has paddock stand bungs and I recently bought a paddock stand for it.

Ohlins rear - nice!

NNNNNNNNNnnnnnnno........

'Beauty is in the eye.....' and all that, but I really like (prefer) the MK1 XR1200 engine finish (sort of looks sandcast ish) over the MK2 all black.....which just looks cheap.....IMHO.

I really like this one......:thumb2

Took on board the previous comments about the screen and gold bits, got rid of the screen and a few of the gold bits, and added a few ideas of my own,Brembo floating discs on order, purely because the standard discs look crap.

I had one of these ltd "so many of 50" bikes too. Can't remember what number mine was though.

Put it into a ditch up near Hawes in the rain. Doh.
