The underslung exhaust on the XTZ700 should be brilliant for mounting panniers, no cut outs required and tight in to the frame.

Shame about the bloody chain.

it will be a stroke of genius that bike.

It should knock the likes of the Tiger 800's to one side, pretty much anything else in that genre too.

They may do something similar with the MT07 for off-road.
