Y piece and Can

Haven't posted much lately and have noticed a lot of new names, so for the newbies, these are a serious recommendation. I have fitted several "modifications" to my 02 ADV and not all make much difference but still cost loads. Fitted Y piece, not much difference, still surging, no noticable improvement in performance, just fitted Remus Genesis Race can and the bike is transformed. Before anyone says its cos of the noise, no its not, although it does sound great, surging hardly noticable and loads more mid-range grunt.

HAVE READ SEVERAL ARTICLES ABOUT SURGE, CANT SAY I'VE EXPERIENCED IT.
WHAT IS IT AND WHEN DO YOU NOTICE IT ?

Baldy,

do a search for 'surging' using the search button at the top of the screen. That should give you an evening's reading....

if you haven't got it you will not get it, so you are one of the blessed, us sufferers spend loads of money trying to get rid.

by the way don't go looking for it !! you might find it.
