just fitted a lazer y piece and refitted the standard can - went for a run and did a plug chop - looked q lean - as in porcelain insulation v white, is there a reset I should do relating to the Motronic - :confused:
I recall something like this is required when fitting Y piece and race can ...

This is a photo of the "Steptoe Link". Try a search of "Steptoe Link" or "Cat Code Plug" and you will find out more than you need! As Steptoe says, it makes more difference to some bikes than others, but give it a try if you have 5 minutes and 10p to spare! I have a Remus Y piece and standard can set-up with the Steptoe Link and it revs far more smoothly and is more responsive too.

By the way, I also removed fuse No. 5 to re-set the Motronic unit. Some people say this is important, some people say not so. Remove the fuse and be damned!!! Just don't forget to replace afterwards!!! :thumb
