Myself and Essjay.. did the Yamaha off-road school at the NEC bike show..

If any of you are heading over to the show.. get in as early as you can.. and head over to sign up.. you dont need a license.. you just need to know how to ride a bike..,.. AND its FREE!!!!

they boot and suit you.., bit of instruction and off you go and have a guy taking photos on the track.. which you can buy afterwards (15 quid)

we had great fun... a bit nervous with such a big audience and never having ridden a dirt bike on a track before... but sure we gave it welly...

Seen the off road school, but was scared to make an arse of myself, heres a few pics from the stands

Brilliant fun! I fell on me hoop giving it too much throttle around one of the bends. I was mortified in front of all those people and pulled a muscle in my bike lifting the bike too quick. Huge respect to the guys that race these as I was knackered after two 5 minute sessions.
