Looking for some info re front suspension. Oem standard bike .
When I bought the bike they replaced the front seal on the strut due to a leak . Can someone help out with what is the length of travel when I compress the front suspension ?
What kind of measurement etc ?
Thanks for any help

Theoretically the front forks standard travel 200-210MM .

Thanks for the reply.
Compressing the forks no way near 200mm.
Will need to check .
Is it possible something is not right internally, that I will need to get checked.
To much fluid etc

I think if my memory serves me correct (when I fitted the rally raid kit ) it suggested not allowing the inner Chrome tube to slide too far into the inverted fork stanchion.
You are probably unable to compress the fork the full 200mm by hand even if removed pushing by hand on one stanchion ?
Put small tie wrap around the fork tube and go for a ride with few stoppies and see what the marker tie wrap mm suggests ?
