I have been lucky to get a ride on the TRF's Coast to Coast off-road run in early May using my 404CCM. The start is in Scarborough on the Saturday and finishes in Morecambe on the Sunday with an overnight stop in Hawes.

The TRF's designated accommodation is now all taken, can anyone recommend a biker (probably "muddy" biker) friendly b&b in or around Hawes?

My plan is to van the bike up to Hawes Friday night, ride on road to Scarborough for the Saturday morning start and off-road back to Hawes for the evening. Leave Hawes Sunday morning, off-road to Morecambe and back to Hawes on road to collect the van and home.

Am I mad? Does anyone on here have any experience of the TRF's Coast to Coast weekend?

Last did it about 10 years ago ( in it's original format) and it's great fun if a little tiring, but well worth doing.
Phil the organiser is a good bloke and all should run ok
 
I can recommend the Green Dragon.

Good pub, basic camping or rooms at about £20pp.

I'm going for a booze up on Saturday the 26th March.
Stop over.
Stagger home Sunday.
