I am flying over to Liverpool tomorrow and will be there as support to my best mate who will be competing in it. He should do quite well in the 50 year old class as he is a fit bugger, see you there maybe, I will be cycling around. with his food and water.

Best of luck to your mate. Got to be tough to be having a bash!

I'm taking the easy option this year. I'm out on the GSA as one of NEG escort team.

Good point! .... Although, I could be the only one struggling to heave it over Whernside

You riding it Kev? I support a mate every year so will be at Helwith Br at 8 and then the bottom of each hill with camera waiting for the offs.....
A great day out and weather looks ok.

Going across tomorrow to set course up and check route. Camping over sat night at Helwith Bridge. There's 4 of us doing motorbike cover throughout. First time they've been used, so should be fun. I'll look out for you then Dave.

Ok Richie. I'll be in the Helwith Bridge for 'refreshments' on Saturday night.

Good on yer fella. NEG do a brilliant job!

We couldn't run our annual road race up at Great Milton without the support of you boys :thumb

That's great, Richie. Enjoyed the write up and piccies. You were obviously a busy fella that day! Good for your mate, John, to have you supporting him.

Well done to John - he recorded a very impressive result. I bet he is chuffed that he was quickest out of the 8 riders in his team .... And the oldest one too. Top man!

Lovely to meet you. Shame we didn't get chance to have more of a chat, etc. Maybe next year!

Richie our paths must have cross crossed all day. Daughter and I were supporting a mate and were at the star area for an hour, then cycled to the bottom of Ingleborough, then round to Ribblehead and finally rode back to Helwith Bridge.
I aim to Marshall next year and yet a guaranteed entry for 2016, for my 50th. :beerjug:

Hi Davey, Apparently due to my Irish residence and nationality, plus a "pedigree" in cyclo cross I have a good chance of getting a start, we will see. Now where will I buy a cross bike? See you next year whatever the outcome.... I even tweeted Sonia O'Sullivan now she would be brilliant at it, feking brilliant on a bike let alone the running
