I did wonder if the heavy downpour later that afternoon might put some off, but there was still a good turnout at the Craven Arms - good bit of craic, nice beer and food was had by all.

2 camped over - and another kipped in his van. Quality !

Suggestion is to make it happen more often.

Sure did - it was chucking it down when I left work at 5pm, so I went to the gym and by the time I got home (in the sun) it was gone 7pm and too late to get there in a reasonable time

I was a bit late getting across there myself. Was out cycling in the afternoon and got p##sed wet through. Didn't start packing the bike with the tent, etc until 7. Arrived to pitch up at 8.30. Got into the pub at 8.50, to sit down to a (pre-ordered) meal and then several beers. Phew!!

We were the last ones to be booted out of the pub!!

Got to report that the campsite - Masons - has had some money injected and now has a 1st class shower / toilet block.
