bring the wr saturday for laning if you like.because i'm off to wales, wana come.

Sunday i was thinking about heading north one way or another..starting by just north of M55 heading north east towards settle on the minor roads. via Forest of Bowland then across toward kettlewell , then on the minor roads heading up to barnard castle area...see what time we have left then down the west side of the moores via hawes and coming down on the b6255.
But the route could change when i look at memory map which gives better details of views etc...

my aim would to be 3 to 6 riders  looking for the best route for views etc...
But alot depends on weather etc....

Happy for people meet up by me just of M6 jun23 on shell petrol station.
or you could pope in to my house for a cup of tea.

ps done some of this route on supermoto ..last summer great views etc

SO COME ON YOU LOT IN THE NORTH WEST
lets have a great day out

ok this is the route, ( if you have memory map i'll send it you)

make our way up to :
Broughton (just of M6 M55)
on to the small roads going via
Inglewhite,Oakenclough,Dunsop bridge ( this is the forest of bowland area) :thumb
Slaidburn
settle
Arncliffe
kettlewell( tea break) and see if the are any of those calendar girls kicking around because this is the area it was shoot.. :D
once there depending on time etc towards Leyburn ,Granton uptowards Arkengarthdale moor,
back down to hawes, Ingleton

the are a few roads we can put in or take out to make it a shorter ride if folk wana get back for the football.

but if we start early enough we could get all this done with out going at pocket rocket pace...
the views and roads on this run are wonderful........the first part of the run going through forest of bowland is great and the roads after give great view..

So come along :thumb

weather looking good http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=1172

Darn it

Terry,

I would love to come on this run with you guys and all credit to you for perservering but apologies I wont be able to make it again

The girlie is both a big bike fan ,and would therefore insist on coming ( and I enjoy her coming along too), but also a big England fan :thumb

So, as you probably know, as England won their group they are now playing on Sunday so we would need to be back home by 3.30ish.

Sorry :nenau

Have great time and post a few pictures if you get the chance :thumb

Best,

Ian

No worries,
i'm taking my girl with me also. :D
i'm looking to start early so we can be back for the football..
but i can shorted the route very easy....or you can drop onto the main roads and get home within 1.5 hours tops because road will empty ...hence my reason for going out that day...not many cars around..
i was thinking of even finding a pub on the way back thats showing the football and stop there for a few hours rather than finishing too early..

Then again does depend of people turning up in the first place.. :thumb
but cheers
for letting me know
