And this is all that's left after those bl**dy Druids nicked our stones to build Stonehenge!!!

Just in case some people might be getting the wrong idea none of the places photographed are in Newport, if you do have to visit there do what you got to do count your wheels and head off :thumb2

I'm touring Wales over 3/4 days in mid-June, based in Ludlow area...anyone know of any good campsites there?

Looking forward to seeing Pembrokeshire and Snowdonia area :thumb2

My 3 pics above are in Pembrokeshire and Cardigan, they are Aberaeron, (try the honey ice cream!), Cenarth and the Preceselli Mountains. Can't recommend any campsites though, sorry! :nenau

Argoed Meadow Camping, Cenarth

Hi Traveller
There is a great campsite in Cenarth called Argoed Meadow Camping Tel 01239 615151.It is situated just off the A484 before you cross the bridge in Cenarth if you are travelling from Newcastle Emlyn. The campsite runs down to the river Teifi ( popular with trout fisherman) and there is an excellent supermarket and a couple of good pubs in the village. Rita the owner is a real gem, and keeps the "facilities" absolutely spotless. It is a real pleasure to take a shower, in contrast to some places I have stayed at!
It would make a great spot to help you tour the area which includes Newport, Pembokeshire ( please don't visit Newport, Monmouthshire, Big Bird is right! )or anywhere around Pembrokeshires coastal areas, which are mostly so beautiful that they are designated National Park. Bosheston Lily ponds, Stackpole and Barafundle Bay are absolutely magical!
Cenarth itself is very pretty and is situated on some waterfalls( see Longdogs' picture ). Anyway, good luck and have a great time. Oh, I forgot, and the roads are good fun too!
