Now I don't profess to being very knowledgable about Airheads so I'm unable to recognise the finer details of this bike.

Lee (the owner) buys and sells high end classic bikes and is usually pretty on the ball. He explained that it has a tuned motor by some conversion company who's name he couldn't remember from the top of his head.

Anyhow, I really liked it so I thought I'd share!

There's two restored examples of these on Car & Classic for £16k !!!! Admittedly they are really mint but £16k ???!
The cheapest one I have seen for sale recently was £9k.

I don't make you wrong there, it certainly wouldn't be £12k of my money. It'll be interesting to see what he actually gets for it

That being said he always manages to turn up here riding something exotic or expensive and he always manages to turn them around and make something so you never know. This is what he rumbled down on last time, another bike which is worth big money .....

My mate had a Mike Hailwood replica and it had been parked up for 20 years and he finally decided to get it going and move it on and was going to advertise it at £4000 ish and I suggested that I advertise it for him starting at 4K on a worldwide auction

It realised £8200 and the buyer was from down south Sad thing was that ,my Mate couldn't be arsed arguing and telling him to fuck off when he got there and he offered him £8k instead of the auction bid as he agreed to when he pressed the button! But thats another story

Its absolutely smashing when you get to see and play with lovely things (In a responsible manner of course!!)
