Your best gadget on a budget.......

Hi guys, I've not posted on this part of the forum before now but am a member.

I have a relative who rides a 650GS (800) and its getting to that time of year when gifts are considered.

What's the best gadget you guys have bought for around £40.00?

It can be bike specific or just a rider aid of some sort and cool enough for him to be interested when he open it on Xmas day so no High Vis vests thank you very much......

Anyway, thanks for any ideas.

If it were me I would like an optimate4 as it has the canbus attachment that plugs straight into the elec socket=no fuss! but I think they are around £50...

Heated waist coat - on offer at Jeffries for £39.99 inc controller, they are Keis and Bmw are apparently bringing out their own version hence the sell off, not sur eif there are any left though.

Where abouts in Essex are you, dibbs? Might I have seen you around? I some times see a chap on a Grey F800GS on my commute into London, could this be you?

It isn't me that you see, my GS is white! but my mate smudger lives in Romford and he has just bought a yellow and black GS as well so, you might see him buzzing around!!!!! and if your up for some ride outs ever let us know. btw im in Braintree area.

A solar charger from Maplins at £23, I made a lead up that plugs into my heated jacket socket that's connected to the battery. Never yet had a flat battery and costs nothing to run.

I'd go for a Canbus friendly Hid dip beam.

HID kit for £17 from eBay shop, waterproof USB charger was £5 I think. Issue of Sideburn and a sticker set would be around £10-15.
