All of this is true. Although I’m not sure Donny has covered the M8 yet….off to check. The books go into serious levels of detail…I haven’t ridden a selection…For technical you will do well to refer to Donny Peterson but you will need to narrow down your interest to an era, ie pre evo, evo, twin cam, mw8 and all the modern stuff that costs a fortune. For road king you wont go wrong with a fettled twin cam
have you ridden behind a batwing ? they work.Don’t like those batwing fairings on them ,naked ones are ok but cruisers are not my cup of tea.
Maybe so but look awfulhave you ridden behind a batwing ? they work.
Lol.. Why would you not hang out with them?go and find your local meeting place , go to the bar over the road from it , and watch.
then ask yourself , do you want to be associated with them ?
I'm not a HD hater , i have 2 . but i don't hang out with any HD group .
the big gay blue bike.
This is cute.I’ve had an Electra Glide in the past with the handlebar batwing fairing but prefer the shark nose on my Road Glide best as its frame mounted.

twats , until they prove otherwise ..
I would imagine the feeling is mutual
They are the Vegans of the motorcycle fraternity.I always wanted a Harley then I got one and was somewhat disappointed.
They do come with a bit of a stigma attached due to the number of wannabe type bikers that like to play dress up and do 500 miles a year. But then there are others who use them as intended and ride them hard all year round. If doing this then you will probably need to spend a lot of money to upgrade it to suit you and your riding / comfort needs.
Definitely get a test ride first you might find that it’s not for you or you might love it.
Or consider an Indian; but for many I know it’s all about the brand and perceived image / lifestyle so it has to be a Harley.
It does amuse me when Harley people always refer to their bike as a Harley; they don’t have a bike they have a Harley, they don’t go for a ride on their bike they go for a ride on the Harley etc. They want you to know they have a Harley.
I would also echo the sentiment above about hanging out with other Harley groups.
