Oh yeah, I know how to do that. What I want is to nick just a bit out of a video, not play the whole thing. For example, I wanted to post a response to your Out & Out NWS thread and I wanted to use the line from the last ever Sex Pistols gig where Johnny says "Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?" but all I could find were 7 minute videos of No Fun which was the last song they played and the comment was made after it. I don't want to post the whole song, just the last few seconds. There have been other occasions I've wanted to stick a video quote from someone in a thread but have had the same type of problem.Don't know how to edit it.... but you have to register with You Tube. Then when you have, you hunt arond on the same page for the "Embed" box, then all you do is highlight (left click and select all the text), then right click on it and click on "copy", then paste into your post on this site, Voooolla as they say
You could try out these two links fro downloading from You Tube, then use a video editing bit of software to get what you want...
